How to choose a packaging machine in the dairy industry?

Without first-class hardware equipment and first-class management, it is impossible to produce first-class quality products. The development and growth of the enterprise will inevitably be accompanied by the improvement of the level of hardware equipment. The purchase of first-class equipment at home and abroad, especially packaging equipment (such as baler) The ability to improve the quality, taste, image, and selling point of the company’s products, gather competitive advantages and lead the product packaging market trend to seize market opportunities has been increasingly adopted by powerful companies.

How to introduce foreign fully automatic centrally controlled liquid milk, yogurt, milk powder and other complete production lines in China’s dairy industry? We have accumulated and summarized some experience in purchasing domestic and foreign equipment in long-term work and practice, and we are willing to share with colleagues in the industry.

The correct way to purchase domestic and foreign equipment: to achieve “four ratios”:

(1) Compared with “technical equipment level”

The same is PLC control, and the same is the man-machine interface operation, but the number of points and methods of control are very different. The feasibility, safety, stability, accuracy, and sensitivity of equipment operation will be qualitatively different. Of course, the manufacturing cost of the equipment And the price is also different.

Only by comparing on the same technical equipment platform, can it reflect the high and low prices.

  1. functional satisfaction

Which equipment functions do you most want to achieve? What is the priority of these functions? Which supplier provides equipment (such as vacuum packaging machine) that best meets your functional requirements, that is, compare the “compliance” of equipment suppliers, The higher the degree of conformity, the more you have bought the product you most want to buy. The more functions are not the better, but the more satisfying the actual use requirements, the better. Some functions, especially some or a certain function of imported equipment from abroad, may not be used at a time or just considered “in case” from when the equipment is put into use to the equipment is decommissioned. The functional configuration of this nature can actually be improved completely. Equipment operation management or improvement of the operator’s sense of responsibility to achieve such a function is a “option”, depending on the company’s economic strength and product safety standards to determine whether to configure.

       3 satisfaction with after-sales service

Because packaging equipment is generally the final production process of a product, the failure rate, downtime rate and timeliness of maintenance of packaging equipment directly affect the market supply and reputation of the company’s products, and directly affect the manufacturing cost of the product and the economic benefits of the company. When purchasing equipment at home and abroad, the impact of after-sales service on the operation of the equipment cannot be ignored, and suppliers (or agents) with good after-sales service should be selected as far as possible. Buying equipment is a one-time expense, while after-sales service is a daily expense. When purchasing packaging equipment at home and abroad, many dairy companies are most concerned about how much it costs to buy the equipment. They rarely discuss and estimate the cost of after-sales service. This is a common omission in the equipment procurement of dairy companies at present.

      (4) equipment operating cost

The operating cost of packaging equipment (such as shrinking machines) includes: energy consumption (water, electricity, steam, compressed air, etc.), the number and quality of operators, the price and replacement frequency of spare parts and wearing parts, and the after-sales service engineer’s Expenses, service life of equipment and depreciation rate, etc. In today’s fierce competition in the dairy market, cost competitive advantages have emerged. Because of the convergence of marketing costs, the level of production and manufacturing costs may determine the life of an enterprise. Therefore, when purchasing equipment, you must compare the level of operating costs with procurement. The cost-comprehensive weighing is truly responsible for the development and survival of the enterprise.
